LEXINGTON, Ky. - Senior defender
Lauren Shklanko scored her first career goal in the 52nd minute to give Hendrix College a 3-2 victory over Translyvania University in the final Southern Athletic Association regular season field hockey match of the season on Sunday.

Lauren Shklanko netted the game winner with just under 19 minutes left in the game, and Hendrix held on for the win.
Both teams took 11 shots, with the Warriors having a 6-4 advantage in shots on goal.

Gabryele Pochron had one save and freshman
Madi Reese recorded a defensive save, her team-leading seventh of the year, for Hendrix. Sara Ashbacher registered two saves and Katie Jackel had a defensive save for Transy.
Hendrix will be the fourth seed and play Transylvania, the fifth seed, to open the SAA Tournament Friday night in Danville, Ky.
