DECATUR, Ga. - The Hendrix College women's lacrosse team scored four goals in the final 10:09 of the game to pull away from Agnes Scott on the road on Sunday morning. The Warriors (2-2), who led 7-4 at half time, outscored the Scotties (0-1) 7-3 in the second half for the 14-7 victory.
Hendrix outshot ASC 40-21 overall and 29-11 on goal. The Warriors held a 14-10 advantage in ground balls and a 12-11 edge in draw controls. The Scotties turned the ball over 16 times, while the Orange & Black only had six miscues.

Kate Davis tied the Southern Athletic Association record with eight goals scored. The Allen, Texas native took 18 shots, 13 on goal, and had five draw controls. Junior midfielder

Amibeth Marks recorded a goal and two assists for three points. Reger also had three ground balls and freshman defender

Rachelle Pierre and Monique Novoa scored two goals a piece for the Scotties. Caroline Recio led ASC with four draw controls and Novoa had three ground balls. Ashley Holder recorded 15 saves.
Hendrix will play their first ever home game on Saturday when they host conference foe Berry College at 11 a.m.
