Warriors Fall to Majors on the Road

JACKSON, Miss. - The Hendrix College women's team lost 9-0 to Millsaps College on the road in Southern Athletic Association play on Sunday.

The Majors (11-3, 2-1), ranked #18 in the South Atlantic region, swept doubles against the Warriors (3-7, 0-3). The closest match was in the second spot when senior Saranya Prathibha and junior Hannah Smashey were topped by Lauren Pratt and Laura Kebert 8-6.

Prathibha lost to Kebert in a tiebreaker 4-6, 7-5, 10-7 in number three singles. In number six, freshman Lauren Dickinson lost 7-5, 6-2 to Anna Brahce.

Hendrix will return home on Saturday to face Sewanee - The University of the South.
