MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Hendrix College women's tennis team's season came to an end at the Southern Athletic Association Tournament after two losses on Friday and Saturday. The Warriors (3-12) fell to the top seed, #19 Sewanee - The University of the South (18-3) 9-0 on Friday, then lost to Rhodes College (10-5) 7-2 on Saturday.

Hannah Smashey lost 8-3 to Annie Veron and Mary Taylor Tepper in number two doubles. Sophomore
Madison Schallhorn fell to Tepper 6-2, 6-2 in number four singles.

Kaci Dickey defeated Kristla Skremetta and Anna Heinmeyer 8-3 of the Lynx in number three doubles on Saturday. Schallhorn also won her singles match against Elyse Smith 7-6 (10-3), 7-6 (10-5). Freshman
Pratheepa Ravikumar lost to Amelia McIsaac 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (10-3) in number one singles.
Schallhorn was named to the All-Tournament Team.
