Box ScoreCONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College women's lacrosse team lost a 15-3 to Birmingham-Southern College in Southern Athletic Association action at Warrior Field on Saturday afternoon.
The visiting Panthers (8-5, 4-2) outshot the Warriors (4-8, 1-5) 28-23 overall and 25-12 on goal. BSC had a slight edge in groudn balls (26-24) and draw controls (11-9), but committed more fouls (24-17). Hendrix had more turnovers (23-19) and were 0-for-9 on free position shots, while the visitors were 3-for-6. The Panthers went 17-of-21 on clears, while the Warriors were 10-of-18.

Landri Wenzel gave Hendrix an early lead with a goal just 38 seconds into the game. The score was assisted by freshman midfielder
Kate Davis. BSC scored six more goals in the first half to take a 6-1 lead at the break. Wenzel started the second half scoring with her second goal of the game, this time with an assist from frehsman attacker
McKenzie Stribling. After another Panther goal, the Warriors cut the lead to 7-3 on Davis' 48th score of the season. BSC finished the game by scoring the final eight goals for the final 15-3 score.

Raychl Reger caused a season-high four turnovers to go with four ground balls and three draw controls. Wenzel also won three draws and freshman defender
Meghan Ayers had three ground balls and a caused turnover. Freshman
Emily Rankin had five ground balls and 10 saves in goal.
Madeline Golden paced the Panthers with four goals, an assist, six ground balls and three caused turnovers. Anna Barry had three goals and two assists and Taylor Bates scored three times to go with an assist. Hannah Hudson also recorded a hat trick with three ground balls. Caitlin Dryer had nine saves in front of the net.
Hendrix will play their regular-season finale next Saturday, April 12 at home against Rhodes College.
