SALEM, Va. - The Hendrix College field hockey lost 1-0 to Randolph-Macon College on the second day of the Roanoke Invitational Friday evening.
The Yellow Jackets (8-6) had the only goal of the game in the 51st minute when Zoe Tallman put the ball in the right side of the cage.
RMC outshot the Warriors (2-10) 32-13 overall and 22-11 on goal. The Yellow Jackets also had a 15-6 advantage in penalty corner chances.
Hendrix Notes- Junior goalkeeper
Gabryele Pochron was stellar again with 21 saves. The Reading, Pa. native has recorded 20 or more saves six times this season. Pochron ranks second in the nation with 19.5 saves per game.

Bailee Wallace took a career-high five shots on goal.
- Midfielder
Morgan Fires had four shots, three on goal.
- Junior defender
Raychl Reger also had two shots on goal. Sophomore
Bridget Umble took one.
Randolph-Macon Notes- Keeper Kelsey Stanley posted 11 saves in the shutout effort.
- Kaitee Nicholas had 11 shots, six on goal.
