SALEM, Va. - The Hendrix College field hockey team wrapped up the Roanoke Invitational with 6-0 loss to host Roanoke College on Saturday afternoon.
The host Maroons (8-5) scored first first half goals - two from Shelbi Holloman and one each from Rebecca Schmidt and Megan Diehl. Diehl and Kaylen Stenson scored in the second half as well.
For the game, the Maroons outshot the Warriors (2-11) 32-12 and 25-11 on goal. Both teams had seven penalty corner chances.
Hendrix Notes- Junior keeper
Gabryele Pochron recorded 12 saves in goal in the first half.

Alexis Truitt split keeper duties in the second half, with Records stopping four shots and Truitt recording two saves.

Up NextHendrix will return to Southern Athletic Association action when they host Sewanee - The University of the South in a Play 4 The Cure game on Sunday, Oct. 25.
