SALEM, Va. - The Hendrix College field hockey team wrapped up the Roanoke Invitational with 6-0 loss to host Roanoke College on Saturday afternoon.

The host Maroons (8-5) scored first first half goals - two from Shelbi Holloman and one each from Rebecca Schmidt and Megan Diehl. Diehl and Kaylen Stenson scored in the second half as well.

For the game, the Maroons outshot the Warriors (2-11) 32-12 and 25-11 on goal. Both teams had seven penalty corner chances.

Hendrix Notes
- Junior keeper Gabryele Pochron recorded 12 saves in goal in the first half.
- Freshmen Molly Records and Alexis Truitt split keeper duties in the second half, with Records stopping four shots and Truitt recording two saves.
- Freshman Holly Heeb recorded her first career defensive save.
- Junior defender Raychl Reger took five shots, four on goal.
- Senior Debbie Crawford and freshman Madeline Neely had two shots on goal each.

Roanoke Notes
- Holloman and Diehl had two goals each.
- Schmidt recorded a goal and two assists.
- Holloman took 12 shots, 10 on goal.
- Starting keeper Heather Schauder recorded 10 saves.
