CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College men's soccer team lost 6-0 to Oglethorpe University in Southern Athletic Association action at Warrior Field Sunday.
With the win the Stormy Petrels (10-2-2, 5-0-1) secure the regular season conference title. The Warriors (2-9-3, 1-4-1) remain in seventh place with one game to play on the conference schedule, but could move up to fifth place.
Topher Marshall scored twice, while Nick Muntean and Rodrigo Meade each had one for OU in the first half. Martijn Edelman and Ekow Annan both scored in the second period.
For the game, the Petrels outshot the Warriors 29-11 overall and 20-4 on goal. Oglethorpe also had a 15-6 advantage in corner kicks.
Hendrix Notes- Sophomore keeper
Nathan Myers recorded 14 saves, tied for the sixth most in school history.

Oglethorpe Notes- Marshall had two goals and an assist for OU.
- Meade added an assist in addition to his goal, as did Muntean.
- Jonathan Guy and Devon Patterson both had assists.
- Vaughn Moore stopped four shots in goal.
Up NextHendrix will wrap up the regular season at home against Birmingham-Southern College Saturday.
