MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Hendrix College field hockey fell to Rhodes College 11-0 on the road in Southern Athletic Association action Saturday afternoon.
Junior goalkeeper
Gabryele Pochron recorded 31 saves, the third most in school history and one off her season best, for the Warriors (2-8, 1-4).
The Lynx (6-4, 3-1) led 8-0 at half and added three more goals in the second period. They held a 47-5 advantage in shots and 42-4 on goal. Rhodes took 11 penalty corners, compared to five for the Warriors.
Hendrix Notes- Pochron, from Reading, Pa., entered the game ranked second in the nation with 20.50 saves per game. She now has 658 career saves and is 64 saves away from entering the NCAA Division III All-Time Top 30.
