CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College men's basketball lost to the University of Texas at Dallas 92-69 on Garrison Court at Grove Gymnasium Sunday afternoon.
The visiting Comets (3-0) shot 50 percent (31-of-59) in the first half, while the Warriors (1-4) shot just 34.6 percent (9-of-26), allowing UTD to lead 43-24 at the break. Hendrix shot better in the second half at 48.4 percent (15-of-31), but UT Dallas shot 55.6 percent (15-of-27). The Comets outscored the Warriors 49-45 in the second period.
For the game, Hendrix shot 42.1 percent (24-of-57) overall, 7-of-27 from outside and 14-of-19 at the line. UT Dallas shot 52.5 percent (31-of-59) from the field, 9-of-24 from three-point range and 21-of-28 at the free throw line. The Comets had a 44-22 rebound advantage.

John Ogle came off the bench to score a career-high 16 points and dish out three assists.

Preston Smith had 12 points, three assists and a pair of steals.

Travis Garrett chipped in 11 off the bench, hitting a trio of three-pointers.

Drew Nikolovski had nine points and four rebounds
UT Dallas Notes- Jon Hatcher led the Comets with 20 points, 10 rebounds and two steals along with three assists.
- Forward Kyle Coulter had 15 points and eight boards.
- Caleb Banks scored 13 points and dished out four assists.
- Reed Cummings had 11 points off the bench.
