Hendrix Picks Up Road Win at Schreiner

KERRVILLE, Texas - Hendrix College senior point guard Caitlin Kriesel-Bigler recorded 29 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists to led the Warriors a 69-59 win at Schreiner University Saturday afternoon.

The Warriors (8-2) started off with a 24-16 lead after the first quarter, but the Mountaineers (1-8) would fight back to make it 33-32 at halftime. Tied 45-45 at the end of third quarter, SU hit a three-pointer with 7:40 left in the game to gain their first lead of the game. Hendrix answered with an 18-2 run that gave them a commanding double-digit lead headed into the final minute of the contest.

For the game, the Warriors shot 38.8 percent (19-of-49) from the field, 7-of-21 from three-point range and 24-of-34 at the line. The Mountainners shot 34.4 percent (21-of-61) overall, 4-of-19 from outside and 13-of-23 at the line. Hendrix held a 46-32 advantage in rebounds.

Hendrix Notes
- Kriesel-Bigler hit 29 points for the third time in her career. Her 10 rebounds was a career-high and seven assists tied her best output of the season.
- Sophomore center Sara Dyslin came up with 14 points and eight boards in her first start of the year.
- Junior guard Hailey Bode scored six points off the bench.
- Freshman Maddie Anderson and junior Anna King each netted five points.
- Senior forward Katy Gallien pulled down eight rebounds, tying her season best.

- Kelsie Jackson led the Mountaineers with 12 points.
- Jordyn Villa had 11 points and two steals.
- Sabriyyah Fennell added 10 points, six rebounds and three assists.

Up Next
Hendrix will be off until Dec. 30 when they face Centenary College of Louisiana at home.
