SHERMAN, Texas - The Hendrix College women's basketball team defeated Austin College 63-56 on the road Saturday afternoon, avenging their only loss of the season. The Warriors (6-1) lost to the Kangaroos (5-2) 66-65 in Shreveport, La. on Nov. 21.
Hendrix has now won five straight, their longest streak since the 2010-11 season.
After trailing 15-13 at the end of the first, the Warriors came back to take a 31-28 lead at halftime. The Orange & Black opened the third quarter with a 13-0 run to take control of the game at 44-28. They would expand the margin to as much as 17 points before leading 54-40 headed into the fourth quarter.

Breann Forbes sealed the win for the Warriors.
For the game, the Warriors shot 30.2 percent (19-of-63), but were 8-of-16 from three point range and 17-of-22 at the line. The 'Roos shot 34 percent (18-of-53), 3-of-14 from outside and 17-of-32 at the stripe. Hendrix held a 56-31 rebound advantage and led in second chance points 18-1.
Hendrix Notes- Kriesel-Bigler netted 22 points for her fourth 20 or more performance of the season. She made four three-pointers and has scored in double digits every game this season.

Sara Dyslin scored nine points, pulled down eight boards and blocked three shots.

Heather Prowse recorded a career-high 12 rebounds to go with five points, two assists and a steal.

Katy Gallien and senior guard
Estrella Flores added eight points each.

Leah Smith came off the bench for five points.
- Junior forward
Anna King added four points, six rebounds, two assists and a pair of steals.
Austin Notes- Brianna Harvey had 10 points and seven rebounds.
- Kendall Heitmeier also scored 10 points and dished out four assists.
- Bryce Frank had 10 points as well to go with five boards.
- Chrissy Ray blocked five shots.
Up NextHendrix will travel to Irving, Texas to face the University of Dallas on Sunday at 2 p.m. The Warriors defeated the Lady Crusaders 75-66 in the season opener in Conway.
