IRVING, Texas - The Hendrix College women's basketball team won their sixth game in a row, defeating the University of Dallas 47-41 Sunday afternoon.
The Warriors (7-1) jumped out to an 8-0 lead, but the Lady Crusaders (1-4) fought back to make it 10-9 at the end of the first quarter. UD scored the first five points of the second quarter, but Hendrix ended the half with a 12-0 run.
The Orange & Black extended their lead to 29-18 with 5:56 to play in the third quarter, but the Lady Crusaders had a 10-2 rally to make it 31-28 to start the fourth quarter. Hendrix led 33-32 with 8:53 remaining but went on a 10-3 streak to extend the advantage to 43-35Â with 1:28 left. The Warriors made 4-of-6 free throws in the final 31 seconds of the game to secure the victory.
For the game, Hendrix shot 34 percent (18-of-53) overall, 3-of-17 from three-point range and 8-of-10 at the free throw line. Dallas shot 25 percent (12-of-48), 4-of-17 from outside and 13-of-20 at the stripe. UD held a 33-32 rebound advantage, but committed seven more turnovers.
Hendrix Notes- Sophomore center
Sara Dyslin came off the bench to lead the Warriors with 14 points and nine rebounds.

Caitlin Kriesel-Bigler scored 11 points and dished out four assists. She has scored in double-digits in all eight contests this season.
- Sophomore forward
Heather Prowse netted nine points to go with six boards and a career-high four steals.

Estrella Flores also scored nine points.
- Senior forward
Katy Gallien registered three assists.
Dallas Notes- Sammi Tso led UD with 11 points and pulled down seven rebounds.
- Seana Stoia had eight points and six rebounds.
- Helen Onyenso recorded eight rebounds.
Up NextHendrix will be off until Dec. 18 when they face Texas Lutheran in Seguin, Texas.
