IRVING, Texas - The Hendrix College men's basketball team lost to the University of Dallas 81-69 on the road Sunday afternoon.
The host Crusaders (2-4) led 27-17 with six minutes left in the opening period, but the Warriors (1-7) fought back to cut the deficit to 34-30 at halftime. UD extended their lead to as many as 19 points in the second half and kept a double-digit lead throuhgout the rest of the game.
For the game, Hendrix shot 41 percent (25-of-61) from the field, 10-of-29 from three-point range and 9-of-13 from the stripe. Dallas shot 50.9 percent (28-of-55) overall, 6-of-15 from outside and 19-of-31 at the free throw line. The Crusaders held a 39-30 rebound advantage.
Hendrix Notes- Freshman forward
Bryce Batchelor paced the Warriors with 15 points and nine rebounds to go with a block and two steals.
- Junior guard
Travis Garrett hit four three-pointers en route to 14 points.

Bryce Parker scored a career-high 10 points and
Aaron Steele added 10 points as well.
- Senior guard
Drew Nikolovski had six points to go with a career-high seven assists and three steals.
- Freshman center
Chandler Notley pulled down five rebounds in his first career start.
Dallas Notes- Prince Gladolor scored 20 points to lead the Crusaders.
- Tom Kaiser scored 17 points and had 15 rebounds.
- Lorenzo Gonzalez scored 12 points and dished out six assists.
- Darrius Colvin added 10 points off the bench.
Up NextHendrix will be off until Dec. 18 when they take on Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas
