ST. CHARLES, Mo. - The Hendrix College field hockey team opened the Lindenwood Invitational with a 4-0 loss to the host, an NCAA Division II member.
The Lady Lions (3-2) scored three times in the first 15 minutes, then added another one in the 47th minute. They outshot the Warriors (0-4) 51-12 overall and 32-7 on goal.
Junior goalkeeper
Gabryele Pochron continued her excellent play with 28 saves in front of the cage, the fourth most in school history. The Reading, Pa. native now has 101 saves on the season.

Morgan Fires and
Raychl Reger each took five shots, threeon goal.

Brooke Whitaker also recorded a shot on goal.
Lindenwood Notes- Greta Banholaer, Victoria Buysschaert, Tara Robben and Karlie Quinn each scored for the Lady Lions.
- Skyler Starbeck had seven saves for LU.
