CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College field hockey fell to Centre College 4-0 at Warrior Field in Southern Athletic Association action Saturday.
The visiting Colonels (2-3, 1-0), the defending SAA champions, scored in the 11th minute when Erin Mays drove in a rebound shot. Julie Gates and Cole Jordan each had a first half goal and Kelsey Gordon added another in the 63rd minute.
The Colonels outshot the Warriors (0-6, 0-2) 31-2 overall and 23-2 on goal. Centre also had a 20-2 advantage in penalty corners.
Hendrix Notes- Junior
Gabryele Pochron had another spectacular performance in goal for the Warriors, stopping 18 shots. The Reading, Pa. is the national leader in saves per game.

Morgan Fires recorded her first career defensive saves. She also took a shot on goal.

Raychl Reger fired a shot on goal as well.
Centre Notes- Kirby Roberts recorded two saves in goal in the second half.
