GREENVILLE, Ill. - The Hendrix College men's soccer team fell 1-0 in double overtime on the road to Greenville College Saturday afternoon.
The home Panthers (3-6) scored the game-winner with 4:59 left on an Elliot Thompson goal assisted by Caleb Mulholland.
It was an even game throughout with both teams rattling off 13 shots. Greenville had a slight edge over Hendrix (1-4-2) in shots on goal at 6-3 and in corners at 7-6.

Ryan Stanowski and freshman forward
Faraz Arif both had shots on goal in the first overtime, but were stopped by GC keeper Ian Hodge.
Hendrix Notes- Sophomore
Nathan Myers recorded five saves in goal.
- Senior midfielder
Jacob Pierce took three shots. He sits in third on the Warriors' all-time list with 175 career shots taken.
- Stanowski also took three shots.
- Sophomore midfielder
Billy Gardner recorded a shot on goal.
- Saturday's game was the fourth of the season to go to overtime for Hendrix and the third to reach double overtime.
Greenville Notes- Hodge collected three saves, including two in the first overtime.
- Thompson took four shots, two on goal.
