CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College volleyball team won two matches at home on Garrison Court at Grove Gymnasium Saturday. The Warriors (8-6, 2-0) topped Southern Athletic Association foe Centre College 25-16, 25-21, 25-15 in the morning, then defeated the University of Texas at Tyler 25-25, 23-25, 25-16, 25-15 in the nightcap.
Against the Colonels (4-6, 1-1), the Warriors were efficient, hitting .210 on 36 kills to go with eight aces, 52 digs and 11 blocks. Centre hit just .035 with 29 kills, one ace, 50 digs and three blocks.
Hendrix was clicking on all cylinders for most of their match with the Patriots (8-4), hitting .419 in the first and .405 in the fourth set. On the day, the Orange & Black hit .301 with 61 kills, seven aces, 64 digs and seven blocks. UTT hit .103 with 42 kills, four aces, 68 digs and four blocks.

Holyn Duyck recorded 13 assists and tied her career-high with four aces.

Sara Dyslin hit .421 with 10 kills, two aces and five total blocks.

Bradi Ryan connected on nine kills.

MC Rogers had five kills, 14 digs and six blocks.

Felicia Beeman led all players with 16 digs.
Centre Notes- Beth Cecil led the Colonels with 11 kills.
- Libero Erin McGrath had 13 digs
- Elzabeth Janszen recorded 21 assists.
Hendrix Notes vs. UT Tyler- Duyck tied her season-high with 27 assists. Junior
Allison Gaia also had 27 assists.
- Rogers had a double-double with 12 kills and 11 digs.
- Ryan led all players with 14 kills.
- Dyslin came up with 12 kills and five blocks.
- Beeman recorded a season-best 26 digs and served three aces.

Brianna Kelly hit .533 with eight kills and no errors on 15 attempts
UT Tyler Notes- Aleja Thomas led the Patriots with nine kills and hit .368.
- Shabronda Prox recorded 17 digs at the libero spot.
- Rebecca Floyd had 22 assists.
Up NextHendrix will have another SAA match against Sewanee - The University of the South at noon Sunday.
