CLARKSVILLE, Ark. – Two goals in a 44 second span in the first half was all the Hendrix College women's soccer team needed to come away with a season opening win against University of the Ozarks on Tuesday.
Sophomore
Zoe Corwyn scored the first goal in the 35th minute off a corner kick from sophomore
Lucy Moore to make it 1-0. Moore's goal 44 seconds later, off an assist from junior
Symone Bennett, brought the score to its final margin at 2-0.
Hendrix Notes- Corwyn's goal was the first of her career.
- Moore registered her third career goal and fourth career assist.

Jordan Rausch made three saves and posted her fourth career shutout.
Ozarks Notes- Goalkeeper Megan Bradford made two saves for the Eagles.
- Falon Henderson took three shots, one on goal.
Up NextHendrix returns to the field on Saturday when they travel to Tyler, Texas to face the Patriots of UT Tyler. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
