CONWAY, Ark. – The Hendrix College volleyball team returned to the court tonight for both their season opener and home opener at Grove Gymnasium against Central Baptist College.
Hendrix took the first match 25-16, 25-11 and 25-12 and then improved to 2-0 in the second match, winning by a score of 25-14, 25-18,25-16.
Freshman
Brianna Kelly led the team in kills with 11 in the nightcap, while junior
Holyn Duyck paced the team with 18 assists and senior
Felicia Beeman finished with 14 digs in the opener.
Hendrix Notes- Kelly also added nine kills in the first match, giving her 20 on the evening.

Amber Melcher (12) also finished in double digits for assists on the night
- Beeman's 14 digs gave her 970 for her career. It was also the Monrovia, Calif., native's

- Beeman also registered a career high with four service aces in the match

Hannah Tackett finished with a career high seven kills, all of which came in the second match.
Central Baptist Notes- Rebecca Lowe had 24 assists in the two contests for the Mustangs, who dropped to 1-7 on the season.
- Lenee Gibson tallied 22 digs and Payton Cope had 10 on the evening.
