MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Hendrix College women's soccer team opened the Southern Athletic Association portion of their schedule with a 2-1 double overtime loss at Rhodes College Wednesday afternoon.
The host Lynx (6-3-1, 1-0) scored the first goal of the game in the 15th minute when Angie Hurlow found the net. The Warriors (6-3-1, 0-1) tied the game in the 21st minute when senior forward

The game remained tied through regulation despite an offensive flurry by Rhodes. The home team took 13 shots in the second half and five in the first overtime. Warrior keeper
Jordan Rausch came up big with 10 saves in the second period and first overtime.
With 3:20 left in the second overtime, Rhodes' Sydnie Schindler scored the game-winner on a pass from Aly Hoyt.
The Lynx outshot the Warriors 26-4 for the game and 16-2 on goal. Rhodes also held an 11-0 edge in corner kicks.
Hendrix Notes- Rausch, a sophomore, tallied 14 saves, one off her career-high.
