MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Hendrix College field hockey opened the Rhodes Invitational with a 3-2 loss to College of Wooster Saturday afternoon.
The Fighting Scots (1-1) scored three first half goals, but the Warriors (0-2) responded in the second half with goals from sophomore

Gabryele Pochron made 18 saves for the Warriors to become the program career saves leader with 513.
Hendrix Notes- Pochron passed Alyssa Havens, who made 511 saves from 2007-2010.
- The Reading, Pa. native now has 50 saves on the season
- Fires' goal was the eighth of her career and that moved her into a tie for seventh in program history.
- Wallace's tally was the third of her career.
- Heeb and Crawford's assists were both the first of their careers.
- Sophomore
Bridget Umble recorded a defensive save, her third of the season.
Wooster Notes- Danielle Slichenmyer made three saves for the Scots
- Rachel Westzel scored on a first half penalty stroke
- Leah Prescott and Erika Womack had the other two tallies
