ELMHURST, Ill. – After splitting yesterday on the first day of the Elmhurst College Invitational, Hendrix College volleyball came out strong in the first match of day two.
Junior outside hitter
MC Rogers led the way with 11 kills for the Warriors (4-1) as they swept North Park University (2-3) 25-17, 25-8 and 25-19.

Allison Gaia had 20 assists and was joined in double digits by Junior
Holyn Duyck, who had 13. Senior libero
Felicia Beeman had 11 digs in the match.
The Warriors recorded 38 kills, 10 aces, 38 digs and five blocks in the match. The Vikings hit .071 with 25 kills, one ace, 32 digs and one block.
Hendrix Notes- Beeman's 11 digs now puts her at 987 for her career.
- The Warriors allowed eight points in the second set, which was the fewest since they allowed nine to Rhodes in the first round of last year's Southern Athletic Association Tournament.
- Hendrix hit .579 as a team in the second set and .345 overall for the match.
- Junior middle blocker
Samantha Stockdale was perfect on offense, connecting on six kills on six swings.
- Sophomore
Sara Dyslin also recorded six kills with three total blocks, two of which were solo.
- Sophomore
Lauren Petrisin and junior
Victoria Amadi each posted five kills.
- Duyck added three service aces to go with her 13 assists.
North Park Notes- Darby Switzer had 12 assists and Lauren Wiltsie had 11 digs for the Vikings.
- Emily Farwell led the NPU offense with seven kills.
