CONWAY, Ark. – After a late win the day before against LaGrange College, Hendrix College men's soccer fell to Williams Baptist College 3-0 in their home opener at Warrior Field Monday night.

The Eagles (2-0) scored a goal in the 16th minute and added two more in the second half.

The Warriors (1-2-1) took 15 shots with three on goal and drew seven corner kicks.  WBC took 30 shots, with 11 on goal and also earned seven corner kicks.

- Sophomore Keeper Nathan Myers posted eight saves, two off his career high.
- Freshman Jacob Warren attempted two shots on goal.
- Senior Larry Bringard attempted his first shot on goal of the season.
- Senior Jacob Pierce took three shots and junior Oscar Stjernquist had two.

Williams Baptist Notes
- Matheus Allonso scored two goals.
- Thiago Sooma scored a goal.
- Bruno Campos assisted on the first Allonso goal and the Sooma goal.
- Goalie Javier Piedra made three saves.
