LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - The 25th-ranked Hendrix College stepped out of conference play to defeat Covenant College 25-15, 21-25, 25-6, 25-17 Thursday evening.
The Warriors (15-5) easily took the first set 25-15, hitting .385. The Lady Scots (12-11) and the Warriors were tied at 12-12 before Covenant went on a 6-0 run. The home team went on to win 25-21.
Hendrix dominated the third set by hitting .440 with 13 kills while Covenant hit -.217 with only two kills. The Warriors went on to secure the match with a 25-17 win in the fourth.
For the match, the Warriors hit .265 with 51 kills, eight aces, 70 digs and 10 blocks. The Lady Scots hit .090 with 34 kills, five aces, 61 digs and eight blocks.

MC Rogers hit a season-best .375 with 15 kills and 14 digs.

Lauren Dwyer also had season-highs with a .382 hitting percentage, 15 kills and four aces.

Allison Gaia tallied 28 assists and a season-best 14 digs.
