MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The 25th-ranked Hendrix College volleyball team picked up a pair of wins in Mount Berry, Ga. on Saturday to finish their three-day road trip 5-0.
In the opener, the Warriors (19-5, 11-1) took down Southern Athletic Association rival Berry College (14-7, 7-4) 25-21, 25-21, 25-15. They then defeated Texas Lutheran University (10-11) 20-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-20 for the second consecutive day.
Against the host Vikings, the Warriors hit .168 with 41 kills, three aces, 61 digs and five blocks. Berry hit .099 with 25 kills, four aces, 49 digs and eight blocks.
In the win over TLU, Hendrix hit .214 with 57 kills, five aces, 99 digs and 10 blocks. The Bulldogs hit .138 with 50 kills, four aces, 82 digs and five blocks.
