Warriors Break Program Wins Record

CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College women's soccer team set a new program record for wins in a season after defeating Centenary College of Louisiana 3-0 Tuesday afternoon at Warrior Field.

The Warriors (11-7) bested the old record of 10 victories set by the 2009 and 2015 squads.

Senior midfielder Sydney Fobare scored just 20 seconds into the game on an assist from sophomore Evie Cannon. Hendrix scored again just before halftime, with sophomore Olga Delgadillo heading a cross from junior Lucy Moore. The Orange & Black tacked on a final goal in the 55th minute when freshman forward Hagan Griffith dribbled after a thorw in and fired from the top of the box into the net.

The visiting Ladies (6-10) outshot the Warriors 14-4, but Hendrix had an 8-4 advantage in shots on goal. Centenary led in corner kicks 5-3.
