CONWAY, Ark. - The 20th-ranked Hendrix College volleyball team defeated Millsaps College 26-28, 25-22, 25-15, 25-13 at Grove Gymnasium Saturday afternoon.
With the win, the Warriors move to 13-5 overall and 8-1 in Southern Athletic Association play. The Marjors fall to 4-12 overall and 1-8 in conference.Â
Hendrix led 20-15 in the first set, but Millsaps rallied to tie the game 23-23. The Majors fought off two set points, before finally taking it 28-26. Millsaps led 17-14 in the second set before Hendrix powered back to take the frame 25-22. The Warriors easily won the final two games. The Orange & Black hit .438, .333 and .433 in each of the final three sets.
For the match, Hendrix hit .324 with 64 kills, six aces, 64 digs and 10 blocks. Millsaps hit .099 with 36 kills, four aces, 54 digs and seven blocks.

- Junior middle blocker Sara Dylsin hit .440 with 14 kills and three blocks.Â

Lauren Dwyer had season-highs with 15 kills and a .371 hitting percentage to go with nine digs.

Lauren Petrisin also had a season-best 15 kills and hit .367 with three blocks.

Allison Gaia tallied a season-high 33 assists and 10 digs for her fifth double-double of the year.

Amber Melcher recorded 20 assists.

MC Rogers registered eight kills and a season-high 17 digs.
- Senior libero
Leila Matsumoto came up with 20 digs.
- Senior middle blocker
Samantha Stockdale led the defense with four blocks.Â
Millsaps Notes
- Regan Riddle paced the Majors with 11 kills and five blocks.
- Shelby Marsh had 26 assists and eight digs.
- Ashley Zamjahn recorded 20 digs.
