ATLANTA - The Hendrix College women's soccer team picked up their 10th win of the season with a 3-0 victory at Southern Athletic Association foe Oglethorpe University Sunday afternoon.
With the win, the Warriors (10-4, 2-2) tie the program record for victories with the 2009 and 2015 squads.Â
Hendrix scored just 6:23 into the game on a breakaway pass from sophomore
Evie Cannon to
Hagan Griffith, who found the net for the 10th time this season.Â
Sophomore
Sydney Blevins scored in the 58th minute on an assist from sophomore
Amanda Hamilton. Griffith scored again in the 62nd minute.
The Warriors outshot the Stormy Petrels (1-8, 0-4) 27-6 overall and 9-3 on goal. Hendrix led in corner kicks 9-2.
