RICHARDSON, Texas - The Hendrix College women's basketball team lost to the University of Chicago 88-59 on the final day of the UTD Classic Saturday afternoon.
The Maroons (7-4), who were receiving votes in the latest WBCA Top 25 Poll, built a 26-10 lead in the first quarter and led the Warriors (5-5) 46-28 at half. Chicago led by as many as 36 in the fourth quarter.
For the game, Hendrix shot 42.3 percent (22-of-52) from the field, 4-for-7 from three-point range and 11-of-23 at the line. They also recorded 31 rebounds, 12 assists, 22 turnovers and three steals.
Chicago shot 52.4 percent (33-of-63) overall, 12-of-26 from outside and 10-of-19 at the free throw line with 38 boards, 22 assists, 11 turnovers, five blocks and 15 steals.

Hailey Bode scored a season-high 16 points to go with four assists.
- Junior center
Sara Dyslin had 12 points, three rebounds and a pair of steals.

Heather Prowse recorded 10 points, five rebounds and two assists.

Madison Martin added nine points and nine boards.
- Freshman guard
Amber Turner scored six points and dished out two assists.
