CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College baseball team lost to crosstown rival Central Baptist College 6-1 Tuesday night at Warrior Field.
The Mustangs (18-1) outhit the Warriors (12-5).
CBC put up three runs in the third on two hits, an error and a pair of walks. Second baseman Jalin Lawson and first baseman Santez Richardson had RBI singles in the fourth to make the game 5-0. The Mustangs added another run in the sixth on a Seth McLemore base hit.

Marshall Nichol followed with base on balls, allowing Cooper to score.
Hendrix Notes- Cooper's hit in the eighth extended his hitting streak to eight games. He also drew a pair of walks.

Wyatt Hogan went 2-for-4 with a stolen base.

Jake Wiegand each had a base hit.

Josh Slezak (0-2) took the loss, allowing two earned runs in 2.1 innings.
- Left-handed reliever
Cannon Schrank tied his career-high with four strikeouts and only allowed a hit in two scoreless innings.
Central Baptist Notes- Dillon Cates (3-0) earned the win, going six scoreless innings and allowing three hits, two walks and strikeout.
- Richardson went 3-for-4 with two runs, a double and a RBI.
- Lawson had two hits, including a double, with two runs scored and a RBI.
- McLemore drove in two runs.
- Center fielder Deonta Howard hit a triple.
Up NextHendrix will host North Park University in a weekend series beginning with Saturday's double-header at 1:30 p.m.
