CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College women's tennis team defeated John Brown University 6-2 at the Hendrix Tennis Courts Thursday.
Playing singles first, the Warriors (6-4) took four matchups with the Golden Eagles (1-5) winning the other two.

Julia Lefler defeated Krizana Saucedo 6-1, 6-3 in the battle of number ones. Junior
Pratheepa Ravikumar picked a win at number two, topping Eva Berry 6-3, 6-3.

Lauren Mahaney and sophomore
Laela Zaidi won their number three and four matches, respectively, with identical scores of 5-7, 6-3, 1-0 (12-10).
Hendrix won the two doubles matches that were played. Lefler and Mahaney beat Saucedo and Berry 8-4 in the top spot. Senior
Any Jivan and sophomore
Sarah Nieman defeated Taylor Russell and Clare Holden 8-6 at number three.
This was the third win Hendrix had over JBU this season.
The Warriors will be off until Apr. 2 when they host Southern Athletic Association foe Sewanee - The University of the South.
