CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College women's tennis team lost to Centre College 6-3 in Southern Athletic Association play on Sunday.
The Warriors (6-6, 0-3) picked up a point at number two doubles where junior
Pratheepa Ravikumar and sophomore
Laela Zaidi defeated Courtney DeLong and Casey Blair 8-5.
The Colonels (7-4, 2-1) had a close win in number three doubles with Mary Chapin Snow and Mackenzie Snow defeating senior
Any Jivan and sophomore
Sarah Nieman 8-6.
In singles, Hendrix took the number three and four matches. Mahaney beat DeLong 3-6, 6-3, 6-1 at the third spot and Zaidi topped Mackenzie Snow 6-3, 6-2 in the fourth flight.
Hendrix will go on the road for their final four regular season matches beginning at Berry College Saturday.
