CONWAY, Ark. - The 20th-ranked Hendrix College volleyball team started the Southern Athletic Association slate with a 25-20, 25-17, 25-14 victory over Rhodes College at Grove Gymnasium Wednesday night.
The Warriors (6-3, 1-0) hit .295 with 37 kills, five aces, 43 digs and five blocks. The Lynx (4-4, 0-1) struggled offensively, only hitting .049 with 29 kills, four aces, 44 digs and two blocks. Hendrix' best set was in the third when they connected on 16 kills and hit .302, compared to -.028 and seven kills for Rhodes.
Hendrix Notes
- Junior middle blocker
Sara Dyslin paced the Warrior offense with 10 kills and hit .500 to go with three blocks.
- Senior outside hitter
MC Rogers recorded six kills and five digs.
- Freshman outside
Lauren Dwyer also had six kills.

Allison Gaia and
Holyn Radack tallied 13 assists each.

Leila Matsumoto led the back row with 12 digs and served two aces.

- Lulu Schulz led the Lynx with eight kills, four aces and two blocks.
- Heather Antrim posted seven kills.
- Lindsey Blasius had 11 assists and six digs.
- Catherine Grimes recorded nine digs.
