MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Hendrix College women's soccer team tied the best start in program history after a 2-0 victory over Webster University in Memphis, Tenn. Saturday.
The Warriors improved to 6-1 on the year, tying the start by the 2009 team. The shutout was the third straight for the Orange & Black.

Macie Stultz volleyed the ball into the net after a corner kick and a deflection.
The Warriors outshot the Gorloks (1-4) 13-10 overall but both teams had three shots on goal. Hendrix led in corner kicks 11-4.

- Junior keeper
Jordan Rausch recorded her 13th career shutout with three saves.
- Baker's goal was the second of the season and Hamilton's assist was the second of her career.
- Stultz' goal ties her for the team lead with five on the year.

- Aly Miller had one save in goal.
- Chelsea Noser, Sydney Tedesco and Melissa Kasper each took a shot on goal.
