JACKSON, Miss. - The Hendrix College volleyball team moved to 5-0 in Southern Athletic Association play with a 25-22, 25-13, 25-8 win at Millsaps College Sunday afternoon.
Senior outside hitter
MC Rogers recorded nine digs in the match, giving her 1,008 for her career. She is the first player in program history to reach both the 1,000 kill and 1,000 dig milestones.
The first set was close between the Warriors (10-4) and Majors (2-9, 0-5). Tied at 22-22, Hendrix won the final three points. The Orange & Black went on to easily take the final two frames for the sweep.
For the match, Hendrix hit .244 with 29 kills, four aces, 42 digs and 10.5 blocks. Millsaps hit .021 with 22 kills, two aces, 35 digs and four blocks.

Lauren Dwyer had 14 kills and seven digs.
- Junior middle blocker
Sara Dyslin hit .455 with five kills and a season-high seven blocks.
- Senior middle
Victoria Amadi had four kills on six attempts.
- Senior setter
Allison Gaia tallied 14 assists and eight digs.
- Sophomore setter
Amber Melcher finished with 10 assists.
- Senior libero
Leila Matsumoto registered 11 digs.
Millsaps Notes
- Regan Riddle led the Majors with 11 kills and hit .320.
- Shelby Marsh recorded nine assists and six digs.
- Ashley Zamjahn had 13 digs.
