CLAREMONT, Calif. - The 10th-ranked Hendrix College volleyball split their matches on the final day of the Pacific Coast Classic. The Warriors (1-3) opened with a 25-17, 25-16, 25-20 win over Whittier College (1-3), then lost to host #7 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (3-0) 25-22, 25-13, 25-20.
In the win over the Poets, the Warriors hit .269 on 38 kills with 13 aces, 51 digs and five blocks. Whittier hit .140 with 29 kills, two aces, 36 digs and five blocks.
The CMS Athenas outhit Hendrix .271 to .132. CMS also had 49 kills, three aces, 78 digs and five blocks. The Warriors connected on 31 kills with five aces, 55 digs and eight blocks.
Hendrix Notes vs. Whittier
- Freshman outside hitter
Ashton Sitkowski led the offense with eight kills, hitting .312, and came up with 11 digs.
- Senior outside hitter recorded seven kills, nine digs and a career-high five service aces.
- Junior middle blocker
Sara Dyslin had seven kills with a career-high four aces and four blocks.
- Senior middle
Samantha Stockdale hit .455 with five kills.
- Junior right side
Bradi Ryan recorded six kills and hit .545.
- Senior libero
Leila Matsumoto led the defense with 15 digs.
- Senior setter
Holyn Radack recorded 20 assists and seven digs.
Whittier Notes
- Jazmyn Sudbrook-Johnson led the Poets with eight kills.
- Camry Purdom had nine assists and six digs.
- Alexis Mills recorded five total blocks.
- Clarissa Standafer came up with 11 digs.

- Junior right side hitter
Lauren Petrisin paced Hendrix with eight kills and four blocks.
- Dyslin added seven kills, hit .429 and had four blocks as well.
- Radack recorded the third double-double of her career with 13 assists and 13 digs.
- Rogers came up with 12 digs and Matsumoto had 13.
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Notes
- Nicole Kerkhof registered 11 kills and 18 digs for the Athenas.
- Shelbi Stein also had 11 kils and Margaux Arntston recorded 10 kills and hit .471.
- Mikena Werner led CMS with 19 digs.
- Clara Madsen tallied 21 assists and nine digs.
