CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College women's basketball team defeated Berry College 58-34 in Southern Athletic Association action at Grove Gymnasium Friday night.
The Warriors (10-9, 4-4) led the entire game with a 12-8 advantage after the first quarter and a 29-17 lead at halftime. The Orange & Black led the Vikings (8-11, 2-6) by as many as 26 in the fourth quarter before ending with the 58-34 victory.
Hendrix took advantage of 24 Berry turnovers, scoring 31 points off their miscues.
For the game, the Warriors shot 32.8 percent (21-of-64) from the field, 3-of-23 from three-point range and 13-of-17 at the free throw line with 42 rebounds, 17 assists, 10 turnover, three blocks and a season-high 14 steals. The Vikings shot 30 percent (15-of-50) overall, 2-of-15 from outside and 2-of-3 at the line with 38 rebounds, 11 assists, four blocks and six steals.

Sara Dyslin recorded her 12th double-double of the year with 23 points and 11 rebounds.

Madison Martin added 12 points and six rebounds off the bench.

Heather Prowse tied her career-high with 12 rebounds, dished out four assists, and recorded a career-best six steals, tied for 10th most in school history.

Leah Smith added eight points and two assists.

Jordan Tibbits hit a pair of three-pointers, en route to eight points. She also had three assists and two steals.

Amber Turner registered three assists and two steals.

Hailey Bode had four assists and two steals.

- Alex Weems paced the Vikings with 11 points and had five boards and two blocks.
- Rosie Lynch recorded eight points, seven rebounds and two steals.
