Sewanee, TN -Â The Hendrix College women's soccer team returned to the pitch this afternoon in an SAA Conference matchup with Sewanee.
Both women's soccer teams played a tough defensive game throughout regulation pushing them to double overtime before the game would ultimately end in a 1-1 tie.
The Tigers held advantage in the shot total (12-8), while putting six on goal compared to HC's four.
HC went into the halftime with a 1-0 lead with a goal from
Hagan Griffith. However, the Tigers would strike the second half to tie the game up 1-1 sending it to overtime.

Jordan Rausch made four saves in the tie.
The tie puts Hendrix record at 5-7-2; 1-2-2 SAA as they will look to grab a win on Sunday when they travel to take on Centre. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. EST.
