Conway, AR - Hendrix field hockey soared to their four victory on a special senior day, defeating the Lynx of Lindenwood - Belleville 7-1.

Bridget Umble got honored at the start of the game as both seniors have had huge impacts on the HC field hockey program.Â
With the win, the Warriors improve to 4-5 on the year.Â
As it has been throughout the season, the Hendrix defense was spectacular Saturday afternoon. The Warriors took 33 shots compared to LUB's 4 and had 27 of those shots on goal.
Romee Blokland got the scoring started in the third minute to give Hendrix a 1-0 lead.
Holly Heeb would get three goals past Lynx goalie during the opening period as well and Tegan Waller would find the back of the cage two times before the halftime buzzer giving HC the 6-0 lead.
Hendrix's leading scorer Heeb would score again once the second period started to raise the Hendrix advantage and give them the 7-1 victory.
