Danville, KY - The Hendrix College Warriors volleyball team traveled to take on the Colonels of Centre in a SAA match-up. The Warriors looked to stop a two match skid; however, the Colonels were too much for the Warriors on the road as Hendrix fell 3-2 (25-21, 24-26, 18-25, 25-21, 13-15).
The Warriors started strong, winning set number one over the Colonels 25-21. While the Warriors found themselves ahead, they fell out almost as quickly, falling to Centre in set number two.Â
Unfortunately for the Warriors, Centre would claim set three as well. The fourth set handed Hendrix another victory pushing the match to five sets. The final set would bring HC a loss as they would be defeated by CC 3-2.
The team numbers in Saturday's match were very comparable, with Centre barley out killing the Warriors 54-51. The Warriors earned 78 digs compared to Centres' 79.
