Conway, AR - The Warriors suffered their second defeat in a row this afternoon, falling to the Rhodes College Lynx. While the Warriors played a hard fought game and had numerous scoring chances, they could not cash in and were held scoreless.
"Hendrix gelled tonight in the first half," said Head Coach
Rebecca Begley. "Some misplaced balls and unforced errors gave the opponent the opportunity to capitalize. The Warriors get some mch needed rest until we hit the road for a conference match-up this weekend."
The Warriors would have four shots on goal coming from
Marie Slop,
Nadine Matena, and
Bridget Umble. Goalkeeper
Alexis Truitt had 13 saves in the game.Â
With the loss the Warriors moved to 4-7 on the year and 0-3 in conference.
The Warriors next play in Sewanee, TN on Saturday morning at 11 a.m.
