Conway, AR -Â The Hendrix College men's soccer team returned to action this evening in a non-conference match-up with Ozarks on a very special senior night.
Ozarks scored two times in the first half and once in the second half to win 3-0.
"We are disappointed that we could not get a better result on senior night," said Head Coach
Matt Kern. "I thought Ozarks were very dangerous on the counter attack, and they were also effective on set pieces."
"We played well for stretches of the game, but did not do enough to get a positive result," ended Coach Kern. "We will get back to training tomorrow and get ready for Rhodes on Saturday."
Offensively, Hendrix was led by
Gordon Perrin who registered two shots.
Nathan Myers took the loss between the pipes, he made six saves on the day.Â
Hendrix will look to bounce back Saturday when they travel to play Rhodes College in a SAA Conference matchup. The game is scheduled to kick-off at 2 pm.
