Shreveport, LA - The Hendrix College women's soccer team closed their regular season on Tuesday, defeating Centenary 2-1. The Warriors improve to 7-8-3 on the season and will go into the SAA Conference Tournament with a SAA record of 1-3-3.

The game's first goal came in the 4' when Hendrix forward Hagan Griffith was able to get past the defense, and then beat CC keeper to put the Warriors up 1-0. Griffith would score again to give HC the two goal lead as they would ultimately take the 2-1 victory. Hendrix goalkeeper Jordan Rausch had a great game in net, making three saves.

Hendrix held a 3-2 advantage in corner kicks and was able to out shoot Centenary 20-10 on the day.

The Warriors return to action on Saturday in the SAA Conference Tournament Quarterfinals against Rhodes. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 am.
