Conway, AR - The Hendrix Volleyball team hosted Rhodes College Wednesday night after unveiling last seasons SAA Championship and NCAA Tournament banner in Grove Gymnasium. 

The Warriors came out on a mission taking a commanding lead in the first set and would go on to victory by winning the first set 25-19. 

The second match was more of the same with the Warriors claiming victory once again 25-22. 

Hendrix would finish the sweep in the third set, winning 25-21. 

"I am really proud of our group tonight," said Head Coach Angie Boldt. "We were a determined group tonight and played with a lot of purpose."

For the match as a whole, Lauren Dwyer led the Warriors in kills with a total of 12 while Lauren Petrisin also recorded double digit kills with 10 and Bradi Ryan added four. Amber Melcher finished with a total of 15 assists and Dwyer also led the Warriors with two service aces.

The Warriors will be back in action when they host Berry College in a SAA Conference match this Friday.
