Conway, AR - The Hendrix College Men's Soccer Team hosted Berry College this afternoon in a SAA matchup.
Hendrix came into the match, looking to bounce back from their 6-0 loss on Friday at the hands of Oglethorpe.
Berry jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the first half on a goal in the 11' and never looked back and they would take the 6-0 win.
"I thought Berry was well organized and dangerous on the counter attack," said Head Coach
Matt Kern. "We did not do ourselves any favors in that our mental commitment was only there for the first ten minutes of the match. I did not have the group prepared to play today, and we will look to improve before the Sewanee match next Friday."
With the loss Hendrix falls to 3-11, 0-4 SAA.
Hendrix GK
Nathan Myers made five saves.
Hendrix returns to action this week on Friday when they travel to Sewanee in another SAA Matchup. The game is scheduled to kickoff at 7:00 pm.
