CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College women's tennis team played in their final match of the season in a 5-0 loss to Centre College in the first round of the Southern Athletic Association Tournament Friday.

The seventh-seeded Warriors (9-9) dropped all three doubles matches to the second-ranked Colonels (13-6), who are also ranked ninth the Atlantic South Region. The second flight was close with seniors Lauren Mahaney and Julia Lefler falling to Emily Zelichenok and Abigail Kent 9-8 (10-0).

In singles, Neha Rao defeated senior Pratheepa Ravikumar 6-1, 6-0 at number one. Mahaney fell to Kent 6-3, 6-2 in the third spot.

Lefler led Aliza Williams 7-5 before the match was called, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team.
