MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Hendrix College baseball season came to an end with an 11-5 loss to Millsaps College in the Southern Athletic Association Tournament. The game started at USA Stadium in Millington, Tenn. Saturday, but was delayed after the fourth inning and resumed at Rhodes College in Memphis on Sunday.
The game was scoreless until the top of the fifth when the Majors (19-23) got on the board on a RBI-single from right fielder Cavan Breland. The Warriors (20-22) took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the inning. With two outs, sophomore third baseman 
Jorge Leon drew a walk and moved to second on a base hit by junior center fielder 
Drew Judson. Senior left fielder 
Wyatt Hogan followed with a base hit, plating Leon. Junior right fielder 
Matthew Lillard drove in two more runs with a double to right center.
Breland hit a double that scored center fielder Andy Page in the top of the seventh to make the game 3-2. Millsaps scored seven times in the eighth by sending up 12 batters to the plate with three hits, four walks and three hit batters.
In the bottom of the eighth, Lillard led off with a single and sophomore first baseman 
Josh Walker homered to make the game 9-5. The Majors added two more runs in the ninth for the final 11-5 score.
John Wiltshire (2-0) earned the win with three innings or relief. Senior 
Baker Helton (0-1) took the loss for the Warriors.
