High School: First Team All-State as a senior for Homestead High School in Wisconsin...also conference Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference....went 8-0 with 73 strikeouts and a 0.27 earned run average with a 41 inning scoreless streak as a senior...went 6-2 with a 2.20 ERA and 57 strikeouts in 51 innings as a junior
