CONWAY, Ark. - The Hendrix College women's tennis team lost a close match to Berry College 5-4 in Southern Athletic Association action Saturday.
The visiting Vikings (7-6, 1-3) took two of the three doubles match ups, while the Warriors (9-5) split in singles 3-3.

Julia Lefler and
Lauren Mahaney picked up the Warriors' doubles win over Kelsey McCray and Emmie Cornell 8-5 in the second spot. Senior

Rebecca Sherman were defeated by Mary Cerny and Lauren Byrket 9-7 in number one doubles.
In singles, Mahaney won in the third spot over McCray 6-1, 6-3. Sherman picked up her team-leading 14th victory of the year by topping Sydney Stone 6-2, 6-4 in the fourth flight. Junior
Sarah Walker had a number five win over Sage Havrilla 6-4, 7-5.
The Warriors will host Oglethorpe University in SAA play Sunday morning.
